Desert Storm Photos
When you are reading about the events that took place during
Desert Storm, it may be hard to visualize just what all was
going on. For those without any type of military training it is
even more elusive. Yet a picture can say a great deal about any
operation, and that is also the case with the photos you will
see of Desert Storm. Many of these images were also show on the
news and in magazines back in 1990 and 1991. Yet not everyone
remembers them or was old enough to see them.
Should you decide to go look in books or online for pictures
from Desert Storm, you need to be prepared for what you will
see. Some of the pictures are going to be showing acts of
violence and may even show people dying or dead. You need to
prepare yourself for what you will see. If you think such
images will be hard for you to look at then it may be best for
you to refrain.
If you know someone that was a part of Desert Storm, viewing
such pictures may give you a clue as to what they experienced.
Some veterans of this war have had a hard time coping when they
came back. They need all the love and support they can get to
help the get through it. Yet it is hard to offer someone help
when you don’t really understand what it is that they have been
put through.
As a citizen of the United States though you can certainly
take pride in viewing many of the various photos from Desert
Storm. They show well trained soldiers doing their part to help
the operation to be successful. They show men and women up to
the task of operating machinery and appearing to be fearless as
they do their part to bring all of the troops back home
again.
There are also some very lovely and peaceful pictures that
were taken during the Desert Storm war. They show amazing
sunsets and they show friendships in the making. These are the
types of photos that remind us of the common bonds that hold
all of us together. They also remind us that peace and love can
come from such events and they provide soldiers with a reason
to continue their efforts when they are physically and
emotionally exhausted.
