As with any other type of movie, the reviews that are offered can encourage people to watch them or to steer clear of them. Since the Blu-Ray community isn’t a large one yet people often turn to the internet in order to do so. They can get information about movies out on Blu-Ray and they can even write their own reviews to share with other people. This is an exciting way for this new technology to continue taking on a life of its own.

Based on the reviews that I have come across, there isn’t much that people have to complain about with the Blu-Ray technology. The main pet peeve seems to be the fact that they will have to release movies they have already purchased in another format to be able to go only to Blu-Ray and still watch what they will enjoy.
